Minders 93 Forest: You’ve got to admit Smokey, that fillet mignon was better than pizza. Smokey: At that price it damned well should be! Forest: You can afford it, and after last night you owed the girls a meal out. Smokey: I suppose so – now let me finish pouring this last brandy. Fei: I see you’ve persuaded Forest to take his shoes off when he’s got his feet on the sofa. Tia: Yes, that took some doing. I’m not sure I’ll ever get him to give up that bike! Forest: We’ll be turning in soon – I hope we’re not going to be disturbed by any deliveries tonight. Tia: You’ll be OK tonight, and thank you Smokey for taking us out. Smokey: You’re welcome. Actually, I wouldn’t mind if that delivery girl appeared again …….. Fei: That would do no good for your blood pressure Smokey! Tia: And that delivery was an emergency – Bethany has three old guys to do her normal deliveries. Smokey: Suddenly pizza doesn’t taste quite so good. Forest: We should get a decent night’s sleep tonight – it was past one o’clock by the time we’d sorted everything out last night! Smokey: We did both need a stiff drink after the way that girl behaved. I don’t know what came over me when she stripped off! Forest: You did develop a surprising taste for pizza!
