Minders 90 Officer Sophie: Tia? Sophie here. I’ve been keeping him on the CCTV – so far it’s all good, he’s just been quietly cruising round. Tia: So nothing to get him a ticket? Nothing to make him get rid of that ridiculous toy? Officer Sophie: No, he’s clean. Tia: OK, so nothing today but I’m not going to let this go. Thanks Sophie. Smokey: You had a good day Forest? I heard you’d been out on the bike. Forest: Yes, it does attract attention. Sophie caught me riding without a helmet so I had to take her out for a ton up on the country roads, and then Bethany wanted a ride but that was just round the City. Smokey: I’m guessing Tia doesn’t know about Sophie then? Forest: Hell no! She wants me to get rid of it and that would be the final straw! Smokey: Well I won’t tell but if Tia wants it gone …… Forest: Yes, I fear its days are numbered. Fei Yen: I see Smokey’s asleep already. Forest: Yes, he crashed while I was reading the paper to him. Any special reason for your coming up to us? Fei Yen: There was. Mal’s texted us to say she’s appointed some ‘project manager’ guy, to organise activities for you two and all the other gentlemen on the books. Forest: Mal thinks we need ‘organised activities’ does she? I’ll reserve judgement on that! Fei Yen: Maybe I do too, but he’s coming - don’t know when – so be polite and make sure Smokey’s expecting him too. Forest: I’m sure we’ll give him an appropriate welcome Fei, quite sure.
