Description
The daughter of Kenyan immigrants, Lindsey Ogkoye moved to GE City when she was 7. When they moved in, they were warned to stay away from her their neighbors, the San Carlos family. She dutifully obeyed, instead focusing on her studies and putting up with bullies going after her for her then heavily accented English. Two years went by, and then one day three boys began to gang up on her. Then, the knight in shining armor came to her rescue, fighting them off largely due to it being an ambush. That boy was her neighbor, a boy a year younger than her named Jesse. After going back to her family, she told them what happened, and she was allowed to play with him. They rapidly became best friends, and Jesse ended up spending more and more time at her place as his own home life deteriorated. She ended up having to repeat her freshman year again due to poor grades, putting them in the same grade. It was at this time that Jesse told her that he loved her. They have been inseparable ever since then, sharing mutual hobbies, studying together, and taking MMA courses together. She is the spice to his sugar, and the quickest way to earn her wrath is to pick on Jesse or to continue hitting on him after he’s already stated that he has a girlfriend. She also doesn’t put up with anyone’s shit, and will call them on it as opposed to the patient and diplomatic Jesse. Upon graduation, they moved in together - with her father’s blessing - and he got a job to support her while she attended class. To pass the weekends and make their pennies stretch, they began playing dungeons and dragons on the weekends with her brother Cyrus and Cyrus’ best friend, Colin. After she overcame her skepticism and found her footing in the game they realized how entertaining their antics were, they opened up a general nerd channel on a popular streaming service where they discussed comic books, video games, and streamed their sessions. It began to pick up steam recently, and they added Colin’s new room mate Erika to the mix (whom the fans call Mrs. Robinson due to her age, looks, and clear infatuation with the much younger Colin). With things going in the right direction, on one stream Jesse finally popped the question. He didn’t even get the full sentence out of his mouth before she said yes and the chat rejoiced.?
