Has anyone run into this issue with textures? It shouldn't be this shiny and it isn't going away. -M

    If I recall, you have another skin texture (and/or maybe a cloth texture) with something added to it, like a metal map or something. It then applies itself to other textures modded from the same base. If you identify and remove the culprit, it should fix the problem.

    Sorry I'm not more specific 'coz it was a while ago. Yet another minor bug fix we'll never see.....

    what boomer said. also when you run any custom lighting effects it drops a preferences file into that rooms folder. so you may want to go back into that room and set all the lights to default. close it and then open it again.

I'm currently 'on the road' and therefor depending on my laptop. So to relief me of some stress and help me relax I figured: Why not install H3D2 to have some fun in the evening? The only problem: if you're a veteran like me (I've been playing & supporting for over 10 - 15 years) then you'll have yourself a collection. Poses, figures, toys and saves... How to take those with you?

So here's the solution for Windows... First make sure no one is looking over your shoulder (*g*), open your file explorer and head over to %appdata%\thrixxx. In there you'll find a 'launcher' folder as well as one for the game(s) you play. In my example of Hentai 3D2 it's: "Hentai3D2-CryofPleasure". Enter that folder.

Now you only need to copy 3 sub-folders: Community, Mod and Save. If you also want to grab your in-game screenshots you obviously also want 'Screenshots' (but then again... why not use the opportunity to make new cool screenshots?).

I suggest using an archiver like rar or zip because that will speed up the copying to your laptop (one file vs. many smaller files).

But yeah, make sure your game is closed, copy all those folders over and wham... all your familiar data is now available on your laptop. This is also a good way to back up your stuff, but you should probably use something to backup all your data

Hope this can help some of you! Just used this method myself and it works perfectly, so I figured I'd share

    As an add-on, I also use the file utility Allway Sync-N-Go, which will scan and then only copy the changed files in those directories. This allows me to move updated user files back and forth between my desktop and my laptop as needed, without having to copy the entire contents of those directories. Doesn't help the first time, of course!

    @boomer74 Good one! I can even add a bit onto that suggestion (but personal preference is a thing here) which is OneDrive. A Microsoft cloud storage app which allows you to sync stuff between your devices. Main reason I don't use it for Hentai 3D2 is that my collection is well over 1Gb

    True, although I installed it on a thumb drive instead, also due to space considerations. There's actually a full copy of those directories on the drive. It scans the one side and updates the thumb drive, then scans the other install and updates it. Two steps, but (after the first time) it only takes a minute or two, and my desktop and laptop are synced. Not to mention I have an emergency backup in my pocket!
