It may not look it now, but Ephyria used to be a garden paradise. Humans, Orcs, and Elves lived side by side for centuries, in a verdant utopia, at least that's what our history books said when we had them. But, ambition makes monsters of men. The humans struck first, jealous of the elves' power, what they were after doesn't matter at this point. The Orcs of those days were not like the ones today, and they stayed out of the fight, caring for the wounded and refugees of both sides.
