Minders 218 Smokey: Oh ye of little faith! I think that looks like a pretty good fish supper. Bernadette: That’s one of the biggest I’ve seen caught off these shores. Immaculata: You want me to take it down to the workshop bandsaw? Smokey: You’re not going to fillet it with a few karate chops? Bernadette: I’ll ignore that suggestion – whichever of us it was aimed at – and yes, it’s a bit big for the galley worktop. Bernadette: That’s cooked up really nicely, I hope you enjoy it. Fei: Smokey – if you’re going to eat all that I don’t know I want to be sharing a room with you tonight, let alone a bed! Smokey: This is not all for me! Fish cooks better on the bone and there’s enough for us both and some to spare. Bernadette: I’m poaching the tail for Immaculata and me. Anything you have left over I’ll chill down for lunchtime snacks. Smokey: (thinks) And I need to leave some room for brandy ……..
