Minders 204 Tia: Forest – you’re back on your own? Didn’t Pepper come with you tonight? Forest: Don’t worry, she saw me into the lift. Scarlett came along too, she’s giving Pepper a lift back to their flat. Tia: Oh, that’s all right then. You want a whisky before you turn in? Forest: Yes please, and get yourself a glass of something – you’ll be interested in what I heard this evening. Forest: You remember a week or so back, Fei brought Smokey back rather the worse for wear? Tia: I do. She’s not said much about it apart from the fact that he’d had too much to drink in the PPC. Forest: She may not know much more than that and I doubt Smokey will have told her the full story. Tia: So there was more to it than just too many brandies at the bar? Forest: Oh yes and it may explain why he’s been keeping a low profile ever since. Forest: He’s not the only one wanting to forget that night – DF and Sam were there too, they came into the pub this evening and told me all. Tia: I can understand DF getting into trouble but I thought Sam was a responsible drinker. Forest: He is but all three of them got caught out by a young girl. Tia: Why does that not surprise me – but just what happened?
