Minders 184 Eva: Welcome back. Now, Belial, one thing I don’t understand – weren’t your Minders supposed to be looking after Smokey and Forest? Belial: Whoa Eva! We don’t know just what happened, but this was a very unusual situation. Eva: Unusual – how? Belial: Their regular Minders were on leave – the girls who went out with them had only been on duty for 24 hours. Eva: You wouldn’t normally have both the regular minders on leave at the same time? Belial: No. There were – err – special circumstances here. Eva: And the replacement Minders didn’t know what to expect? Belial: There had been a regular handover period but I have a feeling the boys may have been pushing the boundaries with the new girls. Eva: I know Smokey and Forest – I can’t imagine either of them deliberately going into a dangerous situation. Belial: I don’t know. I’m not saying it was deliberate – maybe just a prank that got out of hand? Eva: We’ll have to wait till they get back to find out. I hope Erika gets to them soon. Belial: So do I – once she’s a few miles off the highway she’ll be in the same no signal area the boys and girls got lost in.
