Minders 174 Tia: Miss Erika? It’s Tia. Erika: Hello Tia – what can I do for you? Tia: I was wondering if you’d made contact with the boys – it’s been quite a while since you said you’d try them. Erika: No, I’ve not had any success. Tia: Are they just not answering their phones? That doesn’t sound like them. Erika: No. I’ve tried the boys and both the girls – they’re on different networks – but they all saying the phones are unavailable. Tia: That suggests they’re out in the wilds somewhere – they can’t all have dead batteries. Erika: You’re assuming at least some of them remembered their chargers! Tia: We made sure there are spare chargers in the ‘bus. Erika: They must be out of signal range then – that’s not going to help us at all. Tia: Do we have any idea where they could be – is there a tracker on the ‘bus? Erika: No. We never thought there would be any need for one. Tia: We can’t search the whole county – do you have any ideas? Erika: If I hear nothing in the next 12 hours I’ll contact Vienna, see if the traffic cameras show which direction they were headed.
