Charlie: OK Mr Scissorhands – we were hoping you could let us have some background on the murder victims that might throw some light on why they were selected. Kristoff: I’d like to help, Charlie, but I think I’ve told the police all I know. And call me Kristoff. Kalista: (thinks) I’m sure I’ve seen that girl’s face somewhere before …. Avon: (thinks) Fuck! I’ve got to do my nails again! Charlie: Well Eddie was a local but the two girls were both Mexicans, and didn’t they both live at Mama Mex’s? Could there be anything in that? Kristoff: I don’t know Charlie – the Mexican girls were always very popular with the women and the men in the salon. Kalista: (thinks) Yes! Found her! She’s the girl who did terrible things to some old guy’s face! Avon: (thinks) And my knuckles are cracking! Maybe that stuff you were selling door to door wasn’t that good after all! Kristoff: Remember, Letitia worked at the Whitethigh saloon as well. The new girls, Avon here and Sophie, are living upstairs so I hope they will be safe! Charlie: Ah, yes, in those rooms Ella was using for her ‘other’ business’. Now I think we should go and have a few words with Mama Mex. Kalista: I thought so! You ARE Avon who did that to Mr Forest’s face! Avon: You put that in your crappy paper and there may be another murder here kid!
