While I was looking for examples of 60s and 70s outfit examples, one of the redirects took me to a Retro Clothing Shop They featured very expensive, original era outfits. The GoGo outfit I fashioned that was posted her was going for almost 2000. Course it was like new...but still....buy a pattern and seduce the local seamstress if you dont know how to sew. Cheaper and more fun! This outfit was a Flappers outfit, the top was somewhat like this, the skirt is almost exact, the top is close, but it was covered across the shoulder and the breasts with a shawl, (and not very attractive). They had added a plain scarf, which was a poor accent. And the boots they put with it (not in the 20s!!) really is not period. Basically they put this outfit together as a nightclub outfit, sorta period but still modern. Like what I call it...1920s-ish They were asking a couple of grand for it, and someone will probably buy it. They seem to love that number amount! I didnt buy it - I just made this for us...boots, choker and all....for free....
