Spoooky Music Day 14

Today we celebrate one of the best drummers of our time, Keith Moon. Also known as Moon the Loon, because of all the hijinx that he created while he was with us. The pub rock band, Peter & the Test Tube Babies celebrates Moon's destructive tendencies when he was touring with The Who. Side note: on his solo release, "Two Sides of the Moon", I find it interesting that he did not play drums on most of the album. One of the drummers who played on the release, Miguel Ferrer, now known as a respected actor. Keith Moon funded the Movie "Yellowbeard" and wanted to play the lead, but was too ill to do so. After his death, they named Peter Boyle's character, Mr. Moon in Keith's honor.
