Candis "Candy" Loving (born in Ponca City, Oklahoma is an American model and actress. She was Playboy magazine's Playmate of the Month for the January 1979 issue, which made her Playboy's 25th Anniversary Playmate. Candy Loving was attending the University of Oklahoma as a journalism major when, in 1978, she submitted her photo to Playboy's 25th Anniversary Great Playmate Hunt. Upon winning, she became part of a whirlwind promotional tour that included a second pictorial for the August 1979 issue. Hugh Hefner has credited Candy with helping to revitalize the image of the Playmate as the "girl next door." She eventually earned her bachelor's degree and pursued a graduate degree in human relations. Thank you to all creators.
